audio input to headunit HELP PLEASE

Ok, so i have a KDC 1028 head unit, and i have radio transmitter, to play my ipod through my car, But the problem is sometimes this rums out of batteries, or picks up static. I know that you can use a connector cable with the red and white audio cables and the other end has a headphone jack. i know exactally how to install this, but my headunit only has front and back outputs, it doesnt have any inputs, is there any way that i can install this??

You have to have someplace to plug those into.

haha yeah, i had been looking for something like taht forever and just finally recently found it, but it works pretty nicely
