it's called fleckstone it's a 2 paint process. found at any hardware store.

I bought it at Lowes, it's a stone looking paint. I've been doing all my boxes with this type paint. Use a base color of your choice, then spray the stone paint and clear coat it after. They actually sell 3 different colors of stone spray, the one you see, plus a tan color and a maroon color. I never used anything but the gray stuff you see here. Actually just finished painting another box today for me new DC level 4's.

if you wrap it find a nice design and cut it out of wood (.25") than wrap your box

I spent about $8 a can for the stone kind of paint, then the primer and clear coat run about $3-6 a can.

okay thanks..im going to look into it..i dont want that light of a color so maybe i can find something a little darker..my car is tan colored(see avatar) so im looking for something a little dark to match the color of my car.

i use the stone paint all the time. you can also use it just for the texture look, then paint over it with any color you want.

oh okay..thats even better..im looking for like a dark brown or black..ill just ask one of the employees to set me on the right track so i dont mess anything up.

most of the requests i get are for black overall, with the inside of the port a different color. did this one for 2 hx2 12's. used stone paint for texture.
