I'm looking to replace my Audiobahn AW1200v 12" subs with something a little nicer in the $300-400 range. The issue I'm having is finding a quality sub that will work with the small sealed box that I have. The box that I have was made by Super crew sound and its under the rear seat of a extended cab 98 F150 . Each box is only .8 cu. ft. in size due to there being NO room under the 98 F150 rear seat . I had to raise the seat up 2" for the box to fit. Looking back I wish I would have went with 10's instead of choking the 12's, but thats water under the bridge. If it was up to me, I would jerk the rear seat out , but I have 3 crumb snatchers that sometimes ride back there. Anyway,I did a search but I really couldn't find what I was looking for.
My current setup consists of....
Pioneer P680mp HU
Kenwood 9152D amp pushing the subs.
2 AW1200V Audiobahn 12" Dual 4-ohm Subs in a Super crew sound .8 cu.ft. box
MB Quart DSE213 5.25" 2-Way Component System in the front(running off the HU)
Kicker 05DS68 6 x 8" 2-Ways in the rear(running off the HU)
Being a true newb I thought I would run this by everyone on here and get some opinions.
BTW, the mounting depth can't be over 5 5/8 deep.
Thanks, Mike
