Need HT Box Design For ED EHQS12s

I just bought 2 EHQS12s and would like to use them for my home theater but am not sure how to go about designing the box. I have money in paypal waiting for a design, I would prefer a design by Friday (when the subs will be coming in). Would like to go ported but not sure what size or tuning.

Did you post over on ICIX? I'm sure someone there could give you an answer...

I'd go as big as you could, and tune very low...under 20Hz. If it were me, I'd build two separate boxes and have stereo subbass, but that's just IMO //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yes. I have a single MTX 12 in the family room right now, and you can clearly tell the sub is on the left side.

Now go and put a 2nd one on the right side, and you have sexy sound.

Ok I think I will go that way, but problem now is I was going to run a plate amp. What 2ch. amp would you guys recommend?

How about two plate amps from Apexjr.com?

Problem there is they are s2, which is making finding an amp difficult.

If it was 2 ohm stable I would love to go with this crown, but not sure if I want to risk running it @ 2 ohms.

according to a few sources from a google search it does 250x2 @ 2 ohms.

I also bought 2 of those drivers for this specific purpose...check this thread I asked for a 10 cube box tuned to 20 hz
