I have a 2003 impala and I want to take my head unit out and replace it with an android tablet. I have seen it done before. I need to know to get sound to speakers

If the head unit has an aux input, just plug into it.

Are you going to fabricate a dash kit to hold this tablet? More than likely you are going to need to get something that utalizes the docking pin plug on the tablet and comes out with RCA's. These can then be used to feed into something. This is going to get REALLY complicated REALLY fast if you do not know exactly what you are doing and depending on the stock setup. I know some of these come with BOSE, and that can only mean more headache

Im going to fabricate a case for the tablet and and use the docking station to to charge and run a RCA for the audio. But idk what to run my audio with. I was thinking about a small amp. And my car doesn't have a Bose system
