Need Help!!

i need help, i have no idea what is going on with my sub and why it wont work. Got an alpine type r (4 ohm) hooked up to kenwood KAC-9103D mono block amp. i put my speaker wire on the positive on outside and negative on outside, on the amp. and on the sub i did the excact same thing with a jumper in the middle. but when i turn on my amp, turn up settings on amp nothing except a little vibration. please help me! what am i doing wrong??

DIDDO, if the amp was working prior to trying and hook up the alpine...something is quite possibly wrong with either the wiring in the sub and/or a switch-setting on the amp.

what do you mean you have your sub hooked up the same?? and it's a mono amp stable at what Ohms. make sure your ohm load is correct for your setup. don't wanna overload the sub and fry it. plus check your ground as mentioned and check amp/HU settings....

what do you mean i wired my sub wrong? how should it be wired?
