The sundown would put out much cleaner, mor reliable power. I wouldn't trust the HiFonics under 1 ohm either.

Plus, the sundown allows for upgrades in the future without having to buy a new amp.

You have a lot to learn, young grasshopper. SPL changes drasticly between installations. Electrical system, enclosure, sixe of the car/truck, all play huge factors in determining SPL.

No, but since it can go down to .5 ohms, it allows for a bunch of wiring configurations. Plus, they are strapable and you can get between 4 and 5 kW at one ohm with a pair of them strapped.

I plotted it out with WinISD, but I highly doubt it's accurate. 127 dB is what it gives me in 7 cubes with around 110 sq.in. of port tuned to 32 Hz.

god ill try the cvrs with the sundown and if it is under 135db i will sell the cvrs and buy something else lol cuz i want something LOUD

In all honesty, unless you hang around SPL competitions or with people who have huge systems like some of the guys on here, 130 dB will probably be louder than anything you have heard. Loud is subjective.
