need help wiring on massive audio p3000

just got it today and im confused as shit.

it says 1ohm for each and then 2ohm.

i want to wire each of my l7's to 2 ohms but where the hell would i plug them into the amp is what confuses me.

if you have two dvc 4 ohm subs your out of luck.

stable at 1 ohm per channel or 2 ohms bridged.

EDIT: i believe that is due to the p3000 really being two amps in one case.

each can only handle a 1 ohm load.

yeah, you can run them at 4 ohms, you just won't be getting full power and probably could have save a couple hundred bucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

wire each sub to 2 ohms and put one sub to each channel, or do parallel-parallel wiring and bridge the channels. same difference.

contact wherever you got them from and see if you can exchange them for dual 2s. If they're not new, you might have to buy a new amp, woofers, or get the woofers re-coned, whichever is cheapest.

he's fine, he just wasted his money.

if he can exchange that's good, but probably too much power for the l7's anyways.

also, no recone for an l7.

My bad, I was thinking they had the whole quick-change thing like the Solo-Xs have. Anyways, he can still throw 900w apiece to them by running the amp at 4 ohms. Should move them pretty good. That amp was def. overkill though.
