Need help

You could also look into a Sundown SAZ-1500D. They are now warrantied down to .5 ohm. Should push around 1800w @.67 at full tilt. Be conservative with the gains, and it should work nicely. Granted, both of these amps are overkill for Kicker comps, but it's not very easy to find an amp that is reliable under 1 ohm

Bout how much these go for? And CVRs are **** good subs

Not really, CVRs are rated at 400w rms. The Sundown should push around 1750 at full tilt at .67 ohms(1500 at 1, ~2000 at .5). The CVRs can easily take 500 apiece. with gains set right, you shouldn't have a problem. Keep in mind that just because an amp is rated for a certain amount of power doesn't mean the subs are seen that amount of power all the time. At most, the subs would see about 600w each. That's at full volume with the gains up as far as they will go without clipping. Picking an amp isn't just matching rms specs. You want an amp that will give you the power you need without clipping.
