I have a FUBR-10- 10" POWER ACOUSTIK 1800 WATT SUB and i was wondering if the new SONY XM-1600GSD 1200W CLASS D MONO AMP would push it...if you have any suggestions it would be aprreciated...thank you

How much money are willing to spend, b/c I can tell you you don't want that amp...Do you have a link to that sub?

Push it??? Yes, I just hope it does not blow it...you should be fine with the gains down. The cheapest I have seen it is about $259...

i was talkin to this guy that owns radio lab and he told me im gonna need a mono block amplifier...is this true? im not into all this ohms and things like that..i know how to install stereo systems i just dont get into details w/ them...so your help is very appreciated

That is not true, you don't HAVE to have a mono amp, but it is better on your electrical system...the 1200.1 is a mono amp...you would wanna wire it to either 2 or 1 ohm(s)

do u think i would find it cheapest on ebay? i mean im lookin now and your price range is right...they also have a used for 200 so should i just spring and buy brand new?

Yes, BUT the one I bought from there did not come with a instruction booklet or a warranty...
