Need help With Profile Amp And RE SE 12

ok a friend of mine has a profile amp its the AP2000 2ch"http://www.millionbuy.com/prfap2000.html" and a re se 12 dual 4 i just wanted to know it he can run each ch of the amp to each voice coil of the sub

and later on the wants to run another amp "the same one" and another 12

but i was thinking to put a Y to the rca's so the amp can see the same Signal on the right and left ch that way each voice coil caqn play the same Frequency

Yes, he can technically run one voice coil off of each amp channel.

The problem with that is getting the outputs of each channel matched exactly (as this process is a real pain in the arse and normally requires an O-scope to get just right)

The reason the output from each channel needs to be precisely the same is that if they are off from one another even a little bit the two coils won't move in unison which can lead to premature driver failure and with a sub as nice as he has....nobody wants to see that, do they?

your best bet is to get a line driver to get the voltage high enough so you can leave the amps' gains at their lowest setting.
