Ok so here is the situation:

I am getting a D5 soon(upgrading from the 3250.v2 I had, which bumped like a mofo until it blew //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but thats another story) and I'll be pushing 3 JBL w12GTI's at 1 ohm so Im guessing 3k-4k watts. Ive always had dimming problems with my 190 amp alt(which put out **** amps at idle) and current battery combination which is a GM battery under the hood and a yellow top in the rear. I am going to purchase a mechman 270 amp alt in the next week or 2 and while I'm at it I figure I might as well get my battery situation figured out as well.

Should I

1.) Put my yellow top under the hood and get 2 batcaps/deka/etc. in the rear?

2.) Just add another yellow top in the trunk?

3.) something else?

Im trying to be efficient with my money and only spend between 200-400 dollars but I'd like to have some headroom on my electrical.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
