Need help with my system

Hi all, First post here. Anyways I have a 06 Chrysler Pacifica and recently started to upgrade my system. I am using a Factory head unit I have a 1 Farad capacitor and 2 Gauge cable to it.

Anyways this all began when I put the subwoofer I had had in my camaro into the pacifica, and well with the bigger area it didnt sound good in the sealed box. I then at the advice of my local audio shop bought a second G1 and made a ported box for them. It is a bit better but it still gets drowned out at high volumes. I go back to my local audio shop and they suggested a Mono amp and a single better sub.

So my question to you is what can I do on the cheap to get what I want. I am perfectly capable of building a box. I listen to everything from Hip Hop to Country and Rock back to Dance.

What I have now is a Blaupunkt THA475 I am using this replace my factory amp and speakers.

I normally drive 4 hours at a time so you can understand why I need it loud. I have about 200 in my paypal and what ever little I can get for my Boston Acoustic G1's that are now less than a week old.

Is there a cheap setup thatll do what I am looking for. I was thinking a single 15 in a ported box something like this kicker and a mono amp This is here at new egg for 150 , then Hopefully I can find a "cheap" amp and buy a sheet of mdf

Sorry to rant

And a THA275 that I got on the cheap.

that should put out the ouput you want. you have to build a nice box too for optimal sound. i would say bout 2-3 cu ft box should work good for 500 watts ported. tune it at a higher frequency (34+ hz) for louder boomy bass or less than 30hz for sound quality. it all up to you that aint a bad sub...

Are you talking about that kicker I posted the link to, I am more quality than brand name its just I found that one for 100-150 cheaper than anyone else had it. With free shipping to. So I could buy it build a box and see how it works with my amp?

I already have Boston Acoustic Sc Components in the front doors. My rears are still through my factory amp.

I already have two amps. Basically I am hoping I can get away with a louder sub for under 200 with my current amp.

If I could use my 4 channel bridge 2 channels one for each of the coils on that kicker I should be set huh ?
