Upgrading to 15

Currently have a 12'' type r, looking to go up to a 15'', I want to have a lower hitting bass. I can build the box my self so I was looking at getting either a type r 15'' or a cvx/cvr 15'' dont know what the diff is other than the rms rating on it. not really looking to spend more than 200/250 on a sub.

Also would like to buy a sub that is well known in the car audio world, not some random no-name piece of **** so dont suggest something I havent heard of plz

Look into Sundown, or DC. You may not have heard of them, cause they are not in any big box store, but they will smash the crap out of what most of them box stores carry for the same $$$

15 inch alpine will hit harder and a lil lower being rated at 750watts cp to 500. look into other brands not name brands cuz many have products more suited for you than expensive brand names. look at tc sounds lms-r subs. they gonna hit low low
