Hi all, First post here. Anyways I have a 06 Chrysler Pacifica and recently started to upgrade my system. I am using a Factory head unit I have a 1 Farad capacitor and 2 Gauge cable to it. Anyways this all began when I put the subwoofer I had had in my camaro into the pacifica, and well with the bigger area it didnt sound good in the sealed box. I then at the advice of my local audio shop bought a second G1 and made a ported box for them. It is a bit better but it still gets drowned out at high volumes. I go back to my local audio shop and they suggested a Mono amp and a single better sub. So my question to you is what can I do on the cheap to get what I want. I am perfectly capable of building a box. I listen to everything from Hip Hop to Country and Rock back to Dance. I have about 200 in my paypal and what ever little I can get for my Boston Acoustic G1's that are now less than a week old. Is there a cheap setup thatll do what I am looking for. I was thinking a single 15 in a ported box something like this kicker and a mono amp This is here at new egg for 150 , then Hopefully I can find a "cheap" amp and buy a sheet of mdf http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882519241 Sorry to rant And a THA275 that I got on the cheap.
