need help with design

yall have the box rotated incorrectly. the top is where yall are putting the holes for the sub and port. plus the sides on both the boxes are straight, they should go inward. Aerial View

not sure if this helps or not

I guess you can't tell in that pic, but it is like that...I know what you're saying...I'll move cutouts to the front and show you again.

ok lets see it. i hope your right because this is getting frustrating. i think i can see it now, but the cutouts should be where you have the back being and where u have the cutouts now is the top. basically, i think your box is showing the top and back, rotate it some and i think u got it.

I promise...its how you're thinking it should be. front face is 44 inches wide, back face is 36 inches wide

thats it. except there should only be 2 holes lol. one for the sub one for the aero port. but i get the idea. u think this will be hard to build? what about noise cancellation?

Yes it will be hard-ish to build especially if you're inexperienced, noise cancellation will not be a problem at all...remember the wave lengths we're dealing with are several times the size of the box. I'd do two 4" aero's like that, it will look alot nicer than a sub and an aero next to it, imo

my grandpa is helping me build it and he used to be a contractor so im hoping it isnt too hard with all his tools. how do i figure out the length of the ports with 2 of them. i used one of the tuning calcs floating around here and it said for 35hz tuning, i could use one 3" port that is like 7.44" long. my box is only 12" deep so there isnt much space to work with. any help?

Guess mine was just a bad angle aswell it had all the same dimensions as your drawing but i see Rashadd got you hooked up with one so its all good. I agree two ports would look better then one + it gives you alot more port area.

also, how do i figure out the volume of this box?

looking at the design, with the sharp angle of the top of the box, will my sub be able to fit in the opening without hitting the top of the box?
