Need help with box design!

I'm helping a buddy with a new system for his truck:

-I have the subs, amp, and wires ordered and they are in transit.

2-Alpine SWR 1242D 12" Subs

Hifonics BXi1606D 3200 watt amp

20' Stinger 0 guage wiring

Capacitor not ordered yet (How many farad should I get?)

-The Vehicle: 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd

-The Problem: Single Cab

I'm having a problem designing a box for this truck since it is single cab. I can't think of any way possibly to give these subs enough air space and still be able to drive the truck without my knees burried in the dash. Does anyone have any recommendations? He is wanting to go with a ported box.

-Will this be too much of a system for a single cab truck?

-Any reviews of the products purchased?

Yes he has the center console, I didnt purchase the stuff only lending a hand, may have got into a mess. I'm doubting he will do a blow-through.
