need help with amp....

I have a orion 2500d running at .66 ohms with 3 memphis m3's, i thought it was the subs but i have taken them out and expected them and they are fine, here is my problem, i'll be listening to music and suddenly the bass will fade and won't be as loud, few seconds lata it will start bumping again, then it will fade, also no and then if i have it low volumes i'll hear a thump sound, kinda like a short burp.. Is it cuz the amp isn't getting enough juice, or is it a bad ground connection, currently i have a 0 gauge connected into a distro block, i was thinking of making 2 ground connections and ditching the distro block. If anyone knows what else could be wrong it would be greatly appreciated, also i have put in new rca cables......

you're not supplying enough current for it @ that low of a load.

needs more juice...but if you say you got a HO and yellow top...then there is some kind of resistance in the circuit

current pull on it is 290A on full tilt.
.66ohms, you better be ready for the current pull.

what kind of wire did you use when u wired you car up?

i did the big 3 with all 0 gauge wire, haven't had a problem, i think i'll wire it so it's runnin at 2.33 ohms and see how it runs

bump..... running the amp at 1.33 ohms with 3 dual 2 ohm subs, still having the same probablem, it will hit hard sometimes and then the bass will lessen, and every now and then i hear a noise kinda like a test tone is playing, can anyone shed some light on my situation, can my amp be messed up?
