Need help with amp bad!!!

Ok i have and soundstream dtr1.2200 amp running 2 ppi pro104 10" subs. they really sounded good. sounded being the key. yesterday i started up my truck everything was working fine when all of a sudden the subs just stopped. ground wire to amp is secure. the amp is not going into protect, it powers up normally. Volt metter reads 13.9 at terminals on amp. i cant find any fuses on amp to check anywhere. ohm tested both subs. they read 1.4 on each sub. im lost. any suggestions on what i should do now would greatly be appreciated.

You could use a DMM i believe to the speaker terminals and see if the amp in fact is giving power to the subs. To make sure that in fact will work as Im not sure if that is a method you can use, turn car off check sub terminals should read zero (if it will work). Then power up amp (turn on car and stereo) and recheck speaker terminals fo current (in my theory it should read some kind of voltage). Check RCA's for voltage as well.

Also try swapping subs see if it makes a difference, even just a speaker would work to check.

Check power ground and all connections.

Check both sides of main fuse with DMM for voltage

Any more info input on any of that, im kinda bored so Ill check in

^ what he said, set your dmm to ac and see if the amp is putting out any voltage.. if it isn't, it's probably an rca problem...

ok. found an old crappy amp i had lost years ago. hooked it up and and everything works again. i pulled the cover off my soundstream to see if anything looked fried on the inside. couldnt find anything that looks bad. i really have no clue what to look for or check internally on amp. any ideas?

no smoke ever came from amp and like i say the power is on like normal. Protect light is off.
