need help with a box

i have 2 15 in mojo's in my 98 blazer atm

but i found a hell of a deal on 12 in type r's so i bought 6 of them

now im trying to figure out what the size of the box should be but i dont have too much room to work with

each speaker is 1.7 cubic feet ported

i beleive it is 26 front to back 38 wheel well to wheel well and 33 floor to ceiling

also i have had people tell me to down fire all the subs since i have so many and it will turn my blazer into a band pass box basicaly

any info will be greatly appreciated

also i have had a couple people tell me the 2 mojo's are gonna be louder then the 6 type r's

if anyone has any experiance with both that would be greatly appreciated also

first off. 2 15 mojo's aren't going to be automatically louder than 6 12 type r's. you have 16 cubes before port and sub displacement. i would try to get at least 2 cubes per type r. preferable 2.25 per sub. and downfiring usually doesn't work out very well, unless it's a pickup. sub up and port back, both firing back seems to be best in your vehicle.

im a carpenter so i can build the box w/o a problem but making the design has proven difficult lol
