First of all a DONK is a caprice/impala between the years of 71-73, so you're right it's not a DONK. Second off, I'm asking for help on a sub box, i didnt ask for criticism on the looks of my car. Last but not least, everyone has their own style n taste, obviously we don't share that interest as you can see. Your help would truly be appreciated if we stay on subject.

@vetkilr Hondas have that lock on the back deck but I do have the center console that folds down, could I fire the port through there???

For a 4th order yes...needs to be 50-60 square inches for two 12's.

32-34 and if u wana move air ur gona need alota port..i got 16in^2 per cube and an adding more on next box

idk about 4th order if it differs from regular slot port as far as port area but im doin 80 inches in my new box for daily and a removable port reducer to gimme around 100 for metereing so 50-60 sounds low to me ..also tuning on 4th orders is different..better make sure u can even fit a 4 th order in ur trunk .i know i cant amd i have a rather large trunk..unless u build it in the trunk

Tuned to 43-48hz... 1 sealed each, 2.25 ported section tuned to 45hz.

highly doubt he has enough for for a 6.5 cube box to drop right in ...and do 4th order tuning always need to be that high?? im not sure ..he said he wants it to play real low

4.25 cubed box after displacement...around 5 cubes total. Tuned to 45 it will have a nice bump around 32-35hz and play down to around mid 20's strong. It is what I have in my car, it is a low killer.

ahh 2.25 total ported ..i always wondered about tuning on those ..5 cubes will still be a squeeze in there i kno it was in mine

I heard a Tahoe yesterday 10 subs (out of 12 in right now) he's 4th ordered his truck and it was tuned to 46 hz and as the notes got lower, the bass and air came harder!!! Lol

My buddy has the same car as you and the loudest setup is sub firing forward, port firing into the passenger side, also tested with port/sub rear and sub up port firing driver side.
