Hey all, first off I did search the forums and looked around online a little, but couldnt find it.

I have a 06 Honda Civic 4door Lx and am trying to find a simple guide on how to replace my front and rear speakers. If you guys know of any places with this information, can you please link it. Or if you just know how to do it yourself, can you please describe the steps (especialy for the front doors) Thank you for any help you can give.

Welll man i got college 2morro hopefully if the snow does not snow out the school's . but i can look up any info on like any ride on this program i get to use called all data but ill look online to for ya. i would just think pop the door panel off and the pieces just like any other panel have you tried that?

Thanks for the help man, that was what I found in some of the info I did see, that people had to remove the door panels, but no, I didnt try that yet either. I dont want to chance messing up my new car without seeing some pics of where ALL the screws and fasteners are. if you can let me know what you stir up that would be great! thanks.

Yeah np man i will try and find some info on that program at my automotive class if i can usually all it is man is. just pop the interior panel off first like the plastic interior piecing on the actual panel thats usually how all panels are . if u can get a pic up of here of your door panels make sure there not to big so people can see them or use links.

Check some Honda forums as they might have a pictorial.

Otherwise there should be a plastic plug by the door latch and one or 2 inside the arm rest. Pop those off to get at the hidden screws, then just check the bottom of the panel for more screws. After that it will slide up. You don't even have to remove it all the way unless you're going to deaden the door.

If you have any trouble, let me know. I was scared at first, but it's not a big deal. Only thing that might cause trouble is making MDF 'spacer' rings so your speaker will fit right (depending on the speaker you're going to install). You'll see what I mean when you get there.
So, what type of speakers did you install? And how big of spacers did you need? I have some Boston PRO60's that are going to go in soon, you think I'll need spacers as well? Thanks.

I installed some Rainbow SLC's I got from 6spdcoupe here. I used 3/4" MDF ring spacers so the speaker would fit properly. You most likely will need spacers. You can probably get by just fine w/ .5" MDF spacers. It really depends on your speaker. If you have something at your house to cut a ring out of wood with, I would just wait until you get the speaker, then try to install it. If it doesn't go through the hole, just make you a couple spacers right quick.
