Need help wiring

Ok so I have 2 dvc 2 ohm woofers running on 2 1200w class d amps and want to wire with 8 guage to 1 ohm only problem is I can't fit 2 pieces of 8 guage into the speaker posts so what if I ran 2 runs of wire to my amp one from each coil would I get a 1 ohm load or not? There is 2 sets of inputs on the amp and the manual says parelelled internally for 1 ohm

Well I have had them running at 1 ohm for quite sometime now, just want to upgrade from 16awg to 8awg but can't fit it in the woofer post was just wondering if running both coils to the amp instead would do the same thing I am using 2 r1200-1d, 1 for each sub.

I already purchased some 8 guage wire , but ok. My manual says if u took 2 svc 2 ohm subs and wired them both to the amp normally it would read 1 ohm I'm just wondering if it would work the same with 1 dvc 2ohm sub?

Why dont you use 12 guage speaker wire?!?

8 gauge is over kill for normal speaker wire and nit power wires.

Need as much power as possible I got 0 guage running to my second battery in the back and 4 guage running to my amps so I wanted to go 8 for the speakers I didn't just upgrade a bunch of stuff to still use 16 or 12 guage speaker wire is where I'm at so I don't know if I'm not being specific enough or what but I'm pretty sure it can be done I just wanted to check. my amp has 4 inputs 2(+) 2(-) The woofer has 2 2 ohm voice coils

I just want to mention tho that 8 gauge is a good size when doing 3000+ watts on single speaker as 12 gauge is easier and most used for anything below. even 10 gauge is good.

At the moment you will only be receive 1200 watts max to each sub no matter if your power wire is 4 gauge or 1/0 gauge.
