Need Help Wiring sub + amp

im very new to car audio, this is my first setup and i have a few questions.

i have a soundquebed hds315 D2 woofer (1200watt RMS)

SoundQubed HDS315

And im getting a Kicker Cx1200.1 Amp

My question is: what will i need as far as wiring goes? I've heard i need the "BIG 3" upgrade but im unsure of what kind of wiring, as in what gauge, and also any other wiring for the amp. i know that soundquebed has aa wiring kit for $60 and im unsure if thats too much.

That amp is only stable down to a 2 ohm load so you would need a d4 sub, and you can never have a overkill with wiring, too much is always better than not enough.

for the big 3 do all 1/0 wire.

i use knu ofc .

and if you already have that, wire to 4ohms .

if you did not order that amp, dont.

get a amp that will do 1ohm. and wire sub to 1 ohm.
