Need Help Wiring Single 4ohm 2000w sub to 1600w 2ch amp

Whats the best way to wire single 2000w Dvc 12'' sub to 2 ch 1600w amp

just want to know the best way to wire speaker to the amp should it be bridged or unbridged should the sub be wired in series or parallel

Just want the best way to do it without over heating amp or blowing speaker

Uh. You might want to think about getting another amp. You're going to get very little out of that one...

Also, those subs don't handle what they claim as I've been reading anyway. 2k is out of the question, I've read about 800w RMS on them. Give or take.

That amp isn't capable of being wired to 2 ohms bridged. You'd have to wire your sub at 8 ohms.

Bridged power on that amp is 1600 watts peak @ 4 ohms. So, MAYBE 800 watts RMS at 4 ohms. Which translates to ROUGHLY 400 watts at 8 ohms. (maybe)

That means your 800 watt sub is receiving somewhere around 200 watts
