I need help wiring my 2006 Kicker L7 15 inch to my Hifonics 1606d brutus...
At first I thought the amp was bad because I had the kicker wired to 1 ohm,
VC 2 red to VC 1 red and then VC 1 red to + on amp
VC 2 black to VC 1 black and then VC black to - on amp
but all I got the first time I tried was white noise...and I tried for like ****ing 2 hours to get it done right. The amp comes on, grounds are good...power is good and remote is good. RCA is good as well.
------------------------------------
This is where I was getting wiring diagram from:
http://www.kicker.com/06/tech-support/manuals/manuals/2006/2006%20L7%20Sub%20b01%20WEB.pdf
Then today I go out to give it another shot...
I hook everything up and decide to wire it to 4 ohm. while doing so my friend messed with the nobs on the amp, and BOOM it starts pouncing outisde of the box, pretty loud....and I was like OK SO I KNOW MY AMP is WORKING, I know Im just wiring it wrong. here are the pics I took.
