NEED HELP whats happening??

So I got my 2 12" Kicker CVR's installed yesterday with my 2channel Kenwood and my music will play for a little bit then the bass will just cut out for a little and then i can either wait until it comes back on again (about a minute or so) or can turn off all sound for 15 seconds then turn it back on but it happens again...what is happening? Anybody that knows please speak up because it is a pain to listen to half the song with bass then no bass then it comes back and i just wanna get it fixed....again i dont know to much about this stuff but i am assuming maybe a loose wire right now but yeah, let me know...

Check your grounds.

Also how are the subs wired?

Is the amp in stereo or bridged?

How did you set the gains?

i'll double check the grounds right now and when it comes to the wiring stuff i'm a newb but they have the wiring runnin from one sub to the other and then just one set of wires (+/-) running from that sub to the amp. and i believe the amp is in stereo

your amp might be overheating. see how hot it feels when it cuts off...

its pretty warm and as for having them fix it, i am but they are closed until tuesday...

okay so i observed the amp before, during, and after this happens and i have found out what the amp is doing but i dont know why. The amp is shutting itself off and then coming back on again so yeah, i dont know why or how to fix it but any feedback appreciated.

its probly going into protection... whoever installed it did u purchase the equipment from them? or is this something u found else where

yeah with the pioneer deck i have it allows me to look at the voltage as the system goes and it appears that the voltage drop makes the amp shut off to protect itself so yeah...what can i do about that? will an optima battery help or no? any other things maybe...let me know...
