mobile video wiring HELP

new here, hello. umm i'm sure this question gets asked a lot (or maybe not...i couldn't find it), but i need serious help. so, does ANYONE have any clue on how to bypass the safety feature of in-dash dvd players??? there are 2 different wires somehow connected to my trucks parking brake that disable the video from being displayed unless the brake's on. now my dvd player won't display anything but a caution message, brake or no brake, so i need to bypass the whole thing. cuttin those two wires did not work either.....help me please, i'm getting desparate....

What unit is it? You might need a bypass module.
