need help w/ wiring 2 ohm dvc.

almost positive about this, but i cant wire a 2 ohm dvc sub in a two ohm load can i? only 4 ohms or 1 ohm correct? or is there ne way to get an odd amount of ohms like 3 out of it i need just a little more power than i'm getting in a bridged 4 ohm load. my sub is `15" l7 hooked to a 501s rockford amp. would it be safe to go 2 ohms in bridged? need some help
