need help smoke??

yea they used a dmm at the shop all the coils read 3.7 they said thats about where a new 4ohm will read and taht they were fine its something with the amp i hope so i really dont have anyone to try to hook them up i just got out of prison about 6mos ago and i really dont mess with anyone i used to know they are all still doing the same things that took 5years of my life already im not takin no chances . really this is the first thing i have done for myself since i got out and it all kinda got messed up but im not trippin just takin it as it comes and doin what i can one deep for now .

May have simply burned off some excess glue or trash in the gap on the subs if they all read fine on the DMM. I had a customer let some smoke out of one of his Nightshades and the next time it was on the meter he was up 0.4 dB *laughs* I can only guess there was something in the gap that burnt up as the subs still work to this day and it was months ago.

I'm sure dB-R will take good care of you on the amp.

i have full faith in sundowns products and cs i just wish i could have used the amp first before haveing to send it right back but it happens sometimes hopefully not again you do have great products
