Need Help running RCA and remote turnon

My bro is wanting to hook up my old system in his new 09 pontiac g8 gt and we are having trouble finding out were the rca wires plug in to the hu.... The two sock 8' subs are ran threw a stock amp but we have no clue were the amp is.

If any one knows any info or has a good guide for this install please let me know.

Either get a new headunit, or buy some Line-Out converters.

lol cant get new h/u ... The stock hu for g8 pontiac controls heat and ac.... how gay right.

ill take it down to a shop to get it installed... thanks for help

Yeah that car has the Blaupunkt head unit that controls the HVAC functions.

I just looked it up on GM's Service Information, this is what it says:

# Remove the left-hand side carpet trim. .

# Remove the battery.

# Disengage the battery harness retainer securing the harness to the amplifier mounting bracket.

# Remove the bolts securing the amplifier mounting bracket to the vehicle.

# Disconnect the electrical connector from the amplifier.

# Remove the amplifier and bracket assembly.

# Loosen the screws holding the amplifier to the mounting bracket.

Note: Slide the amplifier upward to release the screw heads from the slots in the mounting bracket.

# Remove the amplifier from the mounting bracket.
