This is funny, because 2 of my freinds mentioned getting the same thing the other day. One of the most invasive I've seen yet. It disabled access to regedit and task manager, which I had to correct through dropping the default reg keys in through run (You may also be able to restore any windows options this may have disabled by using the group editor (gpedit.exe) in system 32. Windows no longer thinks it's a valid copy as it changed the registered user to "Virus Alert". It also says this down by the clock. AVG constantly detects, but cannot quarantine or heal. I wiped most of the shit with ccleaner, but there is still a file named "lolyburoh.dll" or something along those lines in system32 which can not be deleted or killed from startup. If it's as bad as that, I'd honestly just do a fresh install after backing everything up if you can't use system restore. If anyone else can shed any light I'd appreciate it as well, as I'd like to know how to kill this crap as it seems to be happening to alot of people lately.

ya your f-ed. i worked on 3 computers with that same issue this week and i have only been able to get as far as gymway. I used Lavasoft, Windows Defender, AVG 8.0, CCCleaner, and SpyBot. Could not get rid of the whole thing so i just reformatted all 3 computers.

yes usally restore point are still intact and have been able to beat the same thing once before but the last time i had to reformat becasue i forgot to re-enable restore

we reformatted at work and then installed ccleaner.

it works pretty good.
