Need help putting a system together

I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ with stock speakers/head unit with the sound bar option. I want to replace the stock speakers and add a sub, tweeters, new head unit, and amp.

2-4x6'' Kicker Replacement Front Speakers

2-5 1/4'' Kicker Replacement Overhead Sound Bar Speakers

2-Super Tweeters

A dual sub woofer box,

2-Kicker Comp 12" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofers

What head unit and amplifier would be best for this set up?

i suggest just buying 1 good or decent 12 or 15.. There are plenty give us your budget range and we can help you.. get a DMM and you need wiring.. check with knukonceptz for wiring.

Well everything so far is ~$600 and i don't want to spend more than $1000. If I want a 15'' sub then a 15'' sub box cost about $250 instead of a single or dual 12'' sub box for $109.00.

you can make a much much better box for like. 30 bucks...

here's advice. don't get any kicker equipment. you can find much better equipment at much cheaper prices. and ask someone to make you a custom box. it's much more cheaper and efficient than those prefabs you're going for.

seriously.. Right now Email Rusty go to DCsoundlabs.com and email them asking for a quote on the DC Level 3 15" and give your zip code... get that.. then get an AP 1500d for like $150 on here, go to knukonceptz run some 0ga so if you ever plan on upgrading you have sufficient wiring already... Or look at Image Dynamics.. they make some sexy shit..

Thanks maxiapads, I asked for a quote on the 15'' DC sub. If kicker equipment isn't that great which brand of speakers should I get?
