Got my speakers and sub in today! I got a set of DLS MS6 comps and a 10" Rainbow Vanadium. Now I need some amp suggestions. Also, would it be better to run 2 seperate amps or 1 multichannel?

Specs of DLS MS6:

100 W RMS, 150 W Max

Specs of Rainbow SW 250/10" E Vanadium:

double voice-coil

Impedance(nominal): 2x4 ohm @ 100Hz

Nominal Power Handling: 50-250 W

Peak Power Handling: 450 W

Thanks guys!

1 amp would be a simpler install. 2 would give u more options. in my ride i have two. check my signature below. i have 3 ways to listen to my music. 1 i can run just my rears off my HU, 2 flip a switch and add my front stage, and 3 flip another switch and add my sub. i don't see how this would be possible with 1 amp. i like it mainly cause it allows me to listen to music with the car off and not be concerned about my amps pulling on my battery. of coarse the wiring becomes more complicated, but you'll realize that car audio is generally very simple; u just have to have some simple logic and be willing to learn from these forums.

i think my front stage amp (check sig) can run 100x2 watts at 4ohms bridged. my fronts are 4ohms, but i have them recieving only 25x 2 watts now. i like the amp. only had it for bout a month now used. after i find out if it can do 100x2 at 4ohms i'll let u know.

i'm confused, are you running 2 subs or 3? one amp bridged is an easier, more efficient way to run two subs IF the amp has enough juice lol If you have a stock elec like me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif running one amp could pull less on your alt, or even two depending on which you go with.. i would look into that... as far as wiring goes, running two amps isn't harder, just a question of where to put the other amp if you have space limitations lol... good luck!!!

i have a few used amps that will provide you enough power for your subs (see signature) I'll give you a good deal on them if you want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif they work great, might need to replace a screw here and there (not on the pyle though) PM me and we can talk! good luck once again!
