need help picking speakers

My take on the B&W's is that they are more "audiophile" rather than HT speakers. Although as joe mentioned, you have to hear them in that application.

Dif Techs arent a bad choice and if you are on a budget I believe they have a speaker bundle.

...is your budget of 1k, per speaker or for the pair?
