These are the amps that i'm currently checking out. Just wondering whats mono or 2-4 channel amps. And why does one amp has many different watts?

A mono amp is a single channel amp, a 2 channel amp is just that a amp with 2 separate channel's, a 4 channel is a amp with 4 different channel's which can be also used as a 3/2 channel. Each amp put's out a different amount of power at a certain ohm load due to the resistance of that particular load. You need to know what coil configuration your subwoofer is before you purchase a amp. Your best bet would be to just get a mono amp but I wouldn't bother with either amp you listed since they aren't that good of amps. What coil configuration is your subwoofer? Should have it listed in the specification's as a dual 2 or dual 4.

hm... I'll ask again what coil config is the L5. Does 2 channels mean the amp can be connected with 2 subs? and 4 channels with 4 subs? I'm kinda looking for $100+ amps 2nd hand. =)

The audio told me as long as its mono sub or 1 channel should be fine. And something about 500watt at 2ohms. So now I can start looking at amps with this specs?
