Now this hifonics brutus 2600 had a meltdown

thats not that bad i had an opti 2000d that my buddy bought and ran it at .33 ohms on a stock alt and battery with a stinger spv 35 in the back and half the board is melted. i will see if i still have pictures.

he thinks L7's are beasts:laugh://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i used to run those amps. for daily, and with the proper electrical, they are sufficient.

"the hifonics brutus 2600 watts at 1 ohm i had two speakers wired down to 1 ohm do the math 1300 to each speaker"
lol
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I'll bet lunch that his Brutus wasn't delivering unclipped rated power @ 1 ohm

ohh theres nothing wrong with Hifonics he said he ran it to hard at low voltage
I should quit bashing Hifonics because they are a good budget amp. When someone tells me that Hifonics is all they can afford, I ask them how much power they need, then recommend the next model up;) Example, need 1200 watts RMS @ 1 ohm, get a BXi 1608 and tune it properly!
