thats not that bad i had an opti 2000d that my buddy bought and ran it at .33 ohms on a stock alt and battery with a stinger spv 35 in the back and half the board is melted. i will see if i still have pictures.

i used to run those amps. for daily, and with the proper electrical, they are sufficient.

I should quit bashing Hifonics because they are a good budget amp. When someone tells me that Hifonics is all they can afford, I ask them how much power they need, then recommend the next model up Example, need 1200 watts RMS @ 1 ohm, get a BXi 1608 and tune it properly!
