need help picking amp for champion dvc 12s

I know what to look for but wanted some opinions from some people that had experience with these subs. It is 2 12" champion series dvc 4 ohm subs in a ported box. The subs need roughly 800 rms watts to be up to their full potential. I currently have them on a spl 1250w amp but that is no where near nearly enough power. Prefer to run at 4 ohm but 1 ohm isn't completely out the question. I don't really want to break the bank but at the same time I don't want anything that is a piece.

It will be much cheaper to go 1ohm stable.. Just look for a 1000RMS at 1ohm mono block

any particular recommended amps that do 1000 rms at 1 ohm? I know some companies actually mean the posted watts they say for their amps but most exaggerate. I had been looking at power acoustik but just feel that would be a waste.
