well thats what i was thinking but a few others have told me that the spl lab meter is just as good and dont have to pay anything for upgraded software like term lab

Isn't there another thread about this?

I have used both and I won't buy another Termlab. IMO the only reason to buy a termlab now is if you were running shows for an org that demanded you use that meter. I would be surprised if anyone who has used both TL and Wireless SPL Lab prefers the termlab. I would be more amazed if anyone out there is happy that they had to pay 100$ to make their TL work when they upgraded their operating system.

I have an SPL Lab and I love it, running the software on win 7 pro 64bit on a netbook, works great no issues. However it does meter a tad higher (~1db)than a term lab, but others claim its within .1-.2 to right on with a tl.
