in my opinion, sony is fine
everybody else hates them but my 2 10's hit hard and clear from my 150.2 amp

they're not going to win you any spl competitions but i can cause car alarms to go off from the other side of a mcdonalds and that's plenty loud enough for me

I can do that with a single 8 (brothers car off 200rms), whats your point? For that price, I would rather have two AA assassin 8s for 120 shipped. They would do fine off that power, be louder, sound cleaner, save space, and be cooler.

like i said....that review is for the 10's i have.....the 12's are nearly identical except for the obvious size differance and greater power handling.....

it's amazing how people will bust on subs instead of giving advice on how to use lower end stuff to get good sound.......

i have my pioneer deck, sony subs, xplod 6x9's and some crappy infinity tweets in my dash and it's plenty loud for a daily driver....i can make it very uncomfortable to sit in my car and that's about as loud as i need it to go

waht do you mean i wont notice the difference? but its the height, and the box cant bee to high, or it wont fit in my trunk. i was looking at about 150 for the 2 sony's, so i want to stay somewhere around there. thanks for any advice

Why use lower end stuff if you can get higher end stuff for the same price that will be better in EVERY aspect? Face it, Assassin 8s > your 10s, and even the 12s....and dont think I havent heard them, because I have in a lot of setups, unfortunately....

by all means....i'm not saying "get these....they're the best....they kill everything else"

this is 100% my opinion.....and i realize there's better.......i'm just offering my opinion from my experience with them......
