Hello, Just picked up 2 kicker CompVR 07CVR124 12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils, and having a bit of trouble finding the right amp.. ive found a few that i think would be ok but not really sure, here are 2 that i think would be ok

Amazon.com: Hifonics ZXi8408 Zeus Series 2 / 3 / 4-Channel A/B-Class 880 Watt Car Amplifier: Electronics

Amazon.com: Hifonics Zeus ZXI6010 600 Watt A/B Class Two-Channel Amplifier: Electronics

any opinions on those? or any suggestions on diff amp would be great. I'd like to spend no more then $200.. agian Thanks..

No, you don't want those for your subs. You want either a 2-channel or monoblock class D amp, since I assume you're not going all out SQ. Take a look at this: MB Quart DSC1000.1D form Sonic Electronix. It's even cheaper on eBay, about $165 shipped, but it will be a great match for your two subs. There are plenty of other great brands to choose from, but at your price range for a new amplifier, MBQuart is hard to beat.

If you don't mind buying used, you can pick up an Audioque AQ1200D from the classified section for $150-$200, and if you want cheaper, you can also get an Audiopipe AP15001D. These are just a few amps, but you'll find overwhelming positive reviews for them. I suggest you read up first before you start buying, though. Check out this site: Basic Car Audio Electronics - read up and save yourself from a bad decision.

Are you set on buying from Amazon or something? Like I said, you need to read first. I don't mind helping, but I'm not going to walk you through everything.

how would i hook up my 2 speakers to a mono amp?
No offense, but this right here tells me you don't know the first thing about car audio lol. Check this out: Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams

That website in general has a TON of information as well, but that specific link shows your many, MANY options when it comes to wiring up subwoofers. You can hook up 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and more subs to a single moboblock amp, depending on your goals and how much power you want to push. I suggest you take your time and read first, or else you might set your car on fire...

Edit: And just to point something out, many monoblock amplifiers have 2+ and 2- connections, just to make wiring easier. Don't get it confused with a full range 2-channel amplifier, they're two completely different things. The MB Quart amplifier I linked earlier has 2+ and 2- connections, and it's made by MaxxSonics, the same company that makes Hifonics brand equipment. Do NOT think they're the same thing though. Hifonics is ok, a little overrated, but think of MBQuart as the higher, better quality version in every way...

well like i said. it was confusing me how to hook up to mono because the way my box is.. not because the amp.. but agian thanks a ton for your help. that basic car audio site you posted has lot of info. thanks for your time and help .you have deff directed me in the right direction.

No problem. Now, do you know how or if the 2 subs are wired together in the box? If they're not wired together, does each one have it's own set of terminals on the box itself? It's very important to know, especially if you can't physically remove the subs without tearing the box apart.

the subs are not in the box yet.. its a bampass box each has its own terminals and each speaker is basicly enclosed individually.
