Need Help On Indash Install Fast!!!

installin a panasonic touch screen today have a couple question if any one can help

1 What do i connect theses wires to ?

a.side break

b. amp cont

c. ant cont

d. navi mute

e. reverse

any help would be great thanks !!!

Dont know a. side break. b. amp cont is the remote amp turn on. c. is for a power antenna. d. i would think is for if you have a navigation system that you would hook up so when the navi system is talking it mutes music. e. hooks up to a wire that tells the vid you are in reverse and switches to a backup cam. ?

ok i got everything hooked up correctly i believe but when i put in a dvd i get this on the screen WARNING enjoy the music but no movie on the screen ?! help anyone

hahah u need a trip system on it.... u know its a fedrel law to watch a dvd and drive?

u need to have a constant ground switch and constant switch.

it wasnt in drive it was parked and i also tried it with just turned to acc not with the car on ?!

I think it has something to do with the E-brake wire. i have heard of people going around it to make it work. I think it has to be grounded but dont quote me on that.

True some models alll youe have to do is ground that wire and your all set.

ok but the car was in park not even movin would that wire still affect it ?

it might. Some of these systems require the e-brake to be one. Try to ground that wire and see if it helps.

yeah just ground that wire and it will be on whenever you wish. if you have it hooked to the ebrake...the ebrake MUST be set for the video to work.

Which model is it? I've heard some units (namely earlier Pioneer) units could simply be grounded and not wired to the e-brake. Try the search function on here or http://www.sounddomain.com. You could also google it--> "panasonic (model number) bypass". good luck.

I just installed a Panasonic touch screen in dash in my truck, as far as watching the DVD goes you have to ground that wire like everyone else said, its simple, the "reverse" wire is for the back-up camera option, the other 3 I don't know, a model number would help alot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
