Need help on box layout

The box build is for 2 TC-9 based 15"s subs. they will be powered of an Orion 2500d at 1 ohm (2500w RMS +) Tuning will be pretty low, around 30hz. I am trying to figure out what layout to use. Loud to the ear is top concern but metering high is always nice. Should I use:

-subs up, ports up

-subs back, ports back

-subs up, port back

-subs back, ports up

The vehicle is a 95 2dr Tahoe. I have tried subs back, ports back and subs up, ports up before. I am looking for people advice who have done set ups in a SUV. I want it to stay below the window line though.

a lot of what I have read says in an suv up / up is best, but it's hard to be sure anymore with so many conflicting "opinions"

I know. what you mean. I just now the CRX is subs up/ports back, so Maybe it works in SUV's to? Thanks for your input.

in my minivan, my 2 12's are as loud as my brothers 8 12's are ( but he has less power per sub) and mine are back / back & his are up/ up and we both have the same van lolz.
