Need Help On Amp Choice

i knopw im definately going to get and alpine type r 10" sub....just wondering if the alpine mrd-m605 would be a good choice for the amp....i was looking at a hifonics bx605 also but i just want to know what you guys think....thanks alot...

the Alpine would be a good choice, assuming it does around 500 watts RMS...

A capacitor will not be needed.

i think its 600 rms into 2 ohms...so would that still be a good choice or is that too much power...im new to all this so...

in that case, get the 4 ohm DVC version of the Type R so you can get it down to 2 ohms. Set your gains accordingly, a too powerful amp is never a bad thing.
