Hey guys whats up, this is the first thread ive ever posted in here asking for help

Um... my problem is i need help to c if an amp will work out with my Sub

Im hopefully get a Sub from TC-sounds, and i was looking into a Directed 2400D amp and i was wondering will it work out with the specs of the sub?

it can take 1000 rms in a ported box and about 1500 in a sealed.

The driver has 4 1 ohm coils so you can wire it to 4 ohms 1 ohm

Also, the the Directed has only 1 channel rite? so it cant have 2 channel input. And it is said to be internally bridged?

And will i have a problem with the Amp because i heard it only have 1 RCA input cuz it was together with another one of these amps.

Im prob gonna run the system with 4 gauge wiring and i will need the remote bass controler in the front with me, so will the 1 RCA input be a problem for me?

The one RCA won't be anything for you to worry about. I forget if that amplifier is 1ohm or only 2ohm stable, someone else can help you with that answer. If you are going to keep your subwoofer alive and healthy, regardless of sealed or ported enclosure, you'll need to use larger than 4ga power and ground wire. For 2400w of power, you should step up to a minimum of 2ga. Highly recommended would be a 0ga wire kit.

Since all of it is coming from one of 4 major manufacturers in China, you can bet that Knukoncepts is no worse than the next, but won't be much better, if any, than the next either. The amp will power tons of stuff with 2400w of output. If that amp is stable to 1ohm, you will receive between 1800 and 2600w of continuous output capability. That is if your wiring, battery and alternator are up to the job. That's alot of power and stock items don't like to supply it very well.

so do u think i should get the HIFONICS BXi2006D CLASS D 2000 WATTS AMPLIFIER instead of that one? This is my first System and i dont want there to be alot of problems with my car/ system

What you think i should do? and all the wiring opt are above

And hows the 1/0 wiring from Knuknoceptz?
I used Knukonceptz for all my wire, distribution and connectors. Everything is awesome for the money! The KNF-23 and KND-23 Distribution block are super cool! I would never consider another company in my opinion. I do not have the RCA from Knu... But I am seriously thinking about it once my install is on it way and I know what size I need.

The difference between 2000w and 2400w is negligible. Just find out what the impedance stability of your 2400w amp is. If it is 1ohm, you are fine with it. Make sure the power wire gauge is appropriate and that your alternator is up to the task as well as your battery.
