Need help making the power wire fit.

the problem with trimming is that you'll reduce the integrity of the small strands of wire, thus reducing the overall integrity of the power wire. I tried this once, just trimming a 4ga wire to fit into a small amp, and tiny strands kept coming off the wire. Not only did it look bad, it was messy, and above all, that end of the wire eventually broke. I can only imagine how much faster that would happen if you were trimming a 0ga to fit into a 4go hole. The stinger thing listed was the coolest idea. A distro works well also. Both options ensure you have room for future expansion.

Add up the fuses on your amp. Ie if 1 fuse has fuses totaling 70 and another 35, then you get the closest for each, so in 1 chamber youd have anywhere from 65-80 and in the other 25-45. The one at the front should be the total, so if you use a 60 and a 40 then you should have 100. You can go abit higher or lower.
If you have lower, than it will just blow the fuse, if you have higher, than the fuses at the amps will blow.
I have two 30Ax2 fuses on back my amp so that is 60 so I would need 60 amp fuse right? This is what I found so far for distribution block any input good or bad?

you dont fuse to protect the amp from pullinbg too much current

you fuse to protect the car in case of a short.

250 amp ANL fuse is fine.

thats why you pull it apart first, then trim off whats too big to fit

Either way, a 60a fuse wont damage your car, if he only has that 1 amp, then it wont make a difference if he uses 60 or 250. Better to blow at 60A than at 250A if there is a problem. If he was running 2 amps at say 150+ combined, than ya 250 would be okay, but since its just 60, it wont make a difference.

The distro you showed uses AGU fuses, these dont go up to high, I believe to like 150. ANL goes up higher and is supposedly better, mainly cause it goes up higher. Unless you plan on upgrading in the near future, go with AGU, you dont have a real need for ANL.

So get 60 a fuse? If blows then what do I get?

Thanks god found this web site lol.
If it blows that means MORE current is passing through. It will blow because it cannot handle the 60+ amps going through. If it blows, which it wont, upgrade to an 80a fuse. But I am pretty sure it will not blow
