NEED HELP! JL w7 12" with Rockford fosgate bd10001D amp

Not even close to touching that subs potential. that amp does 1000@2 and 500@4ohms. Look for a JL 1000/1 or a Phoenix Gold Xenon X1200.1.

so i guess i shud sell my rockford fosgateee and get somting with a bit more juice? Since its running @ 3ohms would my amp give the W7 a desired 750?

I dunno to be exact. If it does 1000 @ 2 and 500 @ 4, I just took half of that to guess that it would push about 700-750 @ 3ohms. Do not quote me on that one.

It'll push it nicely, you'll only gain a db or two pushing more power... not worth it.

hey man there a guy on here selling a phoenix gold tantrum 1200.1 that amp will be perfect for that sub. My firned has the same setup and it gets LOUD!!!!!!!!!

That amp is a nice amp, if you already have one then I wouldn't go out trying to find another amp. I'm running a 500/1 on my 12w7 and it sounds great although a little under powered on paper however that amp has been bench test at 730 @ 3 ohms. Again you should be fine with the RF, the 1000/1 IMO would be overkill plus expensive but nice if you have the bucks.
