Where should sub be facing in SUV for best sound!

I have a sealed 12". dont know if this matters but, with the 3rd row seat up. to get the best sound does it matter which direction sub is facing? up, down, left,right, front, back?

with it being sealed id keep it facing back. some setups tend to dramaticly lose bass output when facing forward. so with your seats up u could do it towards the back. try it up as well, but i think your best bet is towards the back hatch

sealed, i would point towards the rear hatch

Usually sub back and port back, or just back in your case since you're sealed.

you do realize that with a sealed box...you can change the way the sub fires right??? its not like you have a port that cant be covered up...

make a sealed box with the sub facing back towards the hatch. listen to it...now flip it so the sub faces up...listen to it...decide which is better...keep it that way. one twelve and tiny *** box isnt gonna smash any wires or crip them between your box and your carpet so dont worry about if the sub sounds better facing up and the box lays on top of the wires. at least i wouldnt give a shit. out of all the boxes ive build ive only had 1 sealed so i cant really help you since i got rid of it in a weeks time. peace

I do realize that IF my box was just gona be a plain square.

but the box i want is not just a box i can move in any position. its gona be perfect fit right behind my 3rd row. so i dont have that option.

I had my sub facing up and it sounded like crap. I now have my single sealed 12" facing backward and it sounds much better. Go that route.
