need help installing line out converter

alright i have a 2000 chevy impala i want to keep the factory unit but want to install a sound system so i bought this scoshe line out converter but dont know how to install it anybody know how from the trunk not by the stereo using the rear speaker i should say do i connect to one rear speaker or both or do i use the connecting for the factory amp Help Me

you will need to bypass the factory amp if you are planning on using existing stock wiring and an aftermarket amplifier for your mids and highs. Or are you only trying to install a subwoofer. Does your amp not have a high level input? if it does you do not need a LOC.
