Need help installing Dynamat

Im currently installing some dynamat xtreme in my trunk, actually on my trunk lid. How much do i use? Do i cover the entire lid? do i go around all the bolts and shit or do i cover them up? Also do i put the carpet back over the dynamat or leave it exposed?

Do what you wish lol

I just put some on a little at a time - don't cover up bolts, thats a mechanics nightmare lol

Just start knocking making sure its a blunt sound. Cover it back up imo

Cover the bolts, then use a razor to cut a hole around the bolts so they are exposed again.
